Fashion theorist, based in Columbus, OH. Fashion and retail has been the focus of my teaching, research and industry experience internationally for over 15 years . I hold a PhD from University of Arts in Serbia. The dissertation focused on fashion semiotics and social meaning of clothing. I am currently completing my second PhD in Fashion and Retail Studies in the Department of Human Sciences, The Ohio State University. Focus of my research is related to Corporate social responsibility, specifically, ethical labor resourcing, slow consumption promotion, sustainability and implementation of eco and recycled textiles in the contemporary fashion production. Since I have joined the OSU I had an opportunity to lecture in several Fashion and Retail courses.
